The New Untapped Workforce is a Thames Valley wide European Social Funded project working in within the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector to place disabled and disadvantaged people into the workplace for work experience, which will be supported by relevant training.

The objective of this project is to create sustainable employment for disabled and disadvantaged people by providing information and support to businesses to help them overcome barriers to employing from this currently untapped sector of the labour market.

The project plans to support 80 candidates, with a range of training and employment initiatives until March 2008.
